artist story:
spotty dogg is a scottish band with a new generation of music. we have our own unique sound and record original materials, written, composed and produced by ourselves, at our private studio in the scottish highlands.
our music varies from soft rock, to power pop. our main influences are midge ure, queen, pink floyd, nirvana, jimi hendrix, bon jovi, blink 182, acdc, motorhead, my vitriol, foo fighters, keane and snow patrol.
spotty dogg are a revolutionary band with a fresh take on music, eager to rouse the many ears that have become accustomed to the monotonous tones of today’s uniform bands.
the band members jamie fraser (lead vocals), alan greer (keyboards/synthesiser), gary lee mckinney (lead guitar),formed spotty dogg in 2005.
we are all individually talented and we each bring our own qualities to the band. we produce quality tracks that are not aimed at one fixed genre. most of our songs are written about a members life experience so there is a lot of passion in our music and lyrics. we listen to our fans through our website and they are able to hear sneak previews of our material as its being written.
