gerry joe weise, australian blues rock guitarist/vocalist, was born in sydney. throughout his many tours he has jammed with b.b.king, albert collins, john lee hooker, noel redding and eric clapton. his trios have had musicians from mick taylor, savoy brown, roy buchanan and otis grand. he has guest supported ray charles, buddy guy, the yardbirds, pat metheny, john mclaughlin, iggy pop & the stooges, canned heat, the scorpions, luther 'houserocker' johnson, joe louis walker, matt 'guitar' murphy, van wilks, deborah coleman, luther allison, nine below zero, eddie & the hot rods, the chicago blues festival tour and the san francisco blues festival tour in europe. cds 1994 "live in paris", 1996 "a letter to jimi", 2005 "sydney-paris blues". |
