artist story:
after discovering her voice at age forty, debbie g. decided to take her wonderful and totally natural talent and pursue a singing career after raising two terrific sons. she is now working on her fourth album and has been singing professionally for nine years. she is currently ideally teamed with piano-bar veteran tom altenburg under the guise of “debbie g. and me.†finding great harmonies and songs from yesterday and today, the duo plans to continue to entertain audiences in the detroit area and has attained a loyal and almost cult-like following due to tom’s 34 years in the area and debbie’s tremendous talent, wonderful blend, and choice of song.
debbie’s voice ranges from brenda lee, patsy cline, connie francis, bette midler and rosemary clooney, to the likes of etta james, faith hill, and the great nancy wilson.
debbie g. owns her own “state of the art†sound, and reproduction equipment, and is proficient and professional in its effectuation. she is also available for weddings, live dinner music, and does very personal and professional d. j. work.
