artist story:
danny katz: folk-pop with an '80s twist. the bastard child of the postal service and ben folds, katz has been writing, recording and performing original compositions on guitar, piano and voice for over 10 years. while his earliest influences were folk and rock groups like the beatles and peter, paul and mary, over the years they have grown to include artists as varied as erasure, the postal service, billy joel, coldplay, r.e.m., ani difranco and spitz, a popular japanese band.
